Trustees: Monitors and allocates the church’s financial resources to further the church’s mission and ministries; formulates annual budget; oversees building and property maintenance and improvements. Chair: Bruce Ellison

Social Justice and Mission: Organizes and implements mission projects and social justice activities in the life of the church; determines mission spending to support local, national, and international organizations; coordinates specific and timely advocacy and action efforts around particular social justice issues. Chair: Jan Standlea

Faith Development: Provides faith education and formation for children and youth from infancy through college; recruits church school teachers and nursery workers; designs church school curriculum. Co-Chairs: Linda Mines Elliott (Council) & Katie K.

Worship: Works closely with the Pastor and Director of Music Ministry to plan and oversee worship services; encourages congregation’s participation during worship; incorporates arts into worship services. Oversees sanctuary banners and wall hangings, choir and bell choir, readers, and ushers/greeters. Chair: Mary Cox

TEAMS

Congregational Care: Provides for the spiritual, emotional, and physical care of congregation members, including prayer support, cards and visits, meals and transportation; provides new member support; assists with congregation receptions. Oversees the Prayer Shawl Ministry and Sojourners. Chair: Linda Boddy

Earth Justice Team: Oversees and implements the church’s commitment to environmental justice; educates about and advocates for earth-friendly practices within the church and wider community. Chair: Cindy Ellison

Pastor-Parish Relations: Provides confidential support to the pastor, acts as a liaison between the pastor and congregation, and helps to maintain a healthy relationship between pastor and congregation. Chair: Leslie Soken

Personnel: Supports the pastor in supervising staff; provides support to staff members; maintains and updates the church’s personnel policies. Chair: Kathi Rise

Generosity: Develops the congregation’s understanding and practice of generosity; educates the congregation as to how our gifts of time, talents, and treasure can further personal development and transform our world. Chair: Jim Crane
