Generosity at LOUCC
“Now there are a variety of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of services, but the same God; and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who activates all of them in everyone. To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.”

At Lake Oswego United Church of Christ, we give not because we must, but because we may. God has gifted each of us with amazing resources through our skills, talents, energies, passions, finances, and time. Every day, we have the joy and responsibility of choosing how we use these resources. Through our generosity with these gifts, we nurture our vocations, avocations, family, relationships, creation, church, community, and world.
While we practice and celebrate generosity throughout the year at LOUCC, each November we invite members and friends to make a financial commitment for the coming year. Below are our generosity materials for 2024. Please take a look at our 2024 Plan, which spells out our hopes and visions, and watch the video of Generosity Chari Amy Oh explaining our 2024 plan.
