Choir - The LOUCC
choir, led by our Director of Music, rehearses on Thursday evenings at
7:30 p.m. and Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m. Several members of our
choir also sing in other local choral ensembles. Our choir is open to
anyone who loves to sing.
Hand Bells - We also have a Hand Bell
Choir which performs at special times of the year such as Advent,
Christmas, and Easter.
Special Music - When our choir takes a
break for the summer, musicians from the congregation and their friends
take turns offering special music that varies from classical to folk,
from contemporary to spirituals. Mandolins, dobros, guitars, drums, and
the piano have been played during these services.
Concerts - We have produced concerts by
local groups such asVivace

Bough,and Peter
Mayer. |
| Art |
| For 10 years, we sponsored a Literary
Arts festival and contest that focused on spiritual writing and drew
entries from around the world. A gallery wall in our Gathering Room
presents graphic arts by various church members. A labyrinth has been
created by the youth in our church who were moved by its power to impel
human spirituality. Our worship services themselves typically integrate
creative contributions prompted by the inspiration of our members. |
